When your silver anniversary coincides with your daughter’s senior year of college, it calls for a photo session to commemorate both occasions at once. In the last twenty or so years our families have mostly known each other in swimsuits and goggles, laboring up and down 25 meter lanes of chlorinated water, some, I should add, with more skill and ease than others. (I bet you can’t tell who’s a star swimmer at Bowdoin College.) So it was fun to jettison the swim caps and get all cleaned up for this late summer session in Vienna. Best wishes for another 25 years and the remainder of a very memorable senior year of college.
