Update Dear all: I really, really dislike doing this to you, but after much agonizing following the Governor’s announcement earlier this afternoon (March 23), I decided to cancel the Front Steps Project for now. It is just not worth the health risk, even if that risk is minimal. The Covid-19 situation is expected to get […]
Every year I photograph a number of wonderful local High School Seniors from Fairfax and Arlington County schools. In the photos below you get to meet many of them, classes of 2019 and 2020. As the mother of three GenZ kids, I feel very close and connected to these teenagers and young adults. Here’s my […]
Classic DC for classy girls, classes 2016-2020. Going through the various galleries of these past senior girls’ sessions gave me goosebumps. Such beautiful people, inside and out, so much talent, promise and bright futures. I thoroughly enjoy my senior session outings with these young adults, chatting about their High School experiences, the ups and downs […]
“Forty and Fabulous” was the theme for Randa’s auspicious DC Penthouse Party, and a fabulous celebration it was at the top of the wharf. Hadn’t I just taken Holly’s High School Senior photos a couple of years ago? And now she was getting married? Well, when you scroll down and see the way Alex is looking […]
One of my favorite Senior Sessions from 2019 was last spring with this lovely young woman, Alannah, then a Senior at McLean High School. We started at the median of a non-descript street near my house that had some pretty pink blooms and then went for a fun walk in Georgetown, one of my very […]
I’ve been in business for 10+ years, have taken hundreds of thousands of images and am finally writing my very first blog entry. Why, you ask? The honest answer is that I’m not sure. Too busy with the kids? Too intimidated by the technology involved? Hesitant to put myself out there? All of the above are true. I actually do enjoy writing quite a bit so I am excited to finally have my very own blog.
