Senior Shoot/Class of 2020/ Farm Session

I met Victoria during her High School time at the Howard Gardner School in Alexandria, VA, where I periodically take portraits of the students (when they’re not in quarantine). A couple of weeks ago her mother contacted me to ask whether I would be available to take some grad photos of her on their farm, explaining that Tori would agree to pictures only if I took them. It truly touched me deeply to learn that I had been able to create a comfort level and build an emotional connection to a student by taking her bi-annual school portrait for the last couple of years. Needless to say, I made the trek to Fort Washington for a fun session with Tori and a few of her furry and feathered friends. (Her lovely grandparents agreed to a photo as well).

* All photos were taken with long lenses, appropriate distancing and face covering *
