I remember thinking how amazing it was that we have been able to just show up at the door of the Supreme Court of the United States to take professional photos. Over the years, I have had the privilege more times than I can count to meet clients at the top of the steps, for family photos, senior photos, headshots, or any combination thereof. Weekends, weekdays, mornings, afternoons, evenings, you name it. All times of the year. The only requirement by the friendly officers of the Supreme Court Police was that I stay within a few feet of my bag.

So much has happened that it seems a lot longer than a mere three months ago when I met with this lovely family for a spring Senior/Family combo session on Capitol Hill, with Kwanzan Cherry tree, tulips and all. I wonder how long it will be until this favorite outdoor studio opens up again, if at all.
