When you visit Washington, DC, of course you bring twenty of your favorite relatives and meet for an extended family session at 5:45 am at the Lincoln Memorial. Right? – Right. I am so in awe of this family. Wheng, her husband and their four beautiful children had visited DC this past April when I met with them for a session on the National Mall. So imagine my surprise when she messaged me just a few weeks later to tell me that they were coming back – all the way from California – only this time with a gaggle of relatives, to travel the East Coast (covering more miles in the Southeast than I have in my 25 years of living here.) So another session at the Lincoln and environs it was – not the worst place in the world to get some updated family shots. I do love that we got two distinctly different sets of images: amidst the monumental marble and under the verdant tree canopy along the reflecting pool. Here are some of my favorites from this very sunny and windy morning.
