December 31, 2020
At its best, 2020 taught us patience, resiliency, adaptability, and a new appreciation of things we had taken for granted. (We all know what it brought us at its worst). I am very grateful to my clients who trusted me to take the necessary precautions and asked me to take their families’ and children’s photos this year, despite, or perhaps because of, the difficulties this year has brought. In addition to numerous mini sessions, countless school photos, and one large graduation event, I got to shoot 25 family sessions, 20 senior sessions, and 6 headshot sessions – all of them exclusively outdoors.
Thank you to all my clients for their trust and loyalty. The virus knows no calendar, and it will not magically disappear with the start of a New Year. Like many of you, I am hopeful that things will look up, and I wish each and every one of you health and happiness in 2021.
And here are “my” Seniors and Graduates – 20 amazing young adults every single one of whom is deserving of their very own tribute – so please forgive me for this abbreviated format. It’s been a heck of a year. May the New Year give me more discipline to write individual blogposts. 🙂
Good communication is key to a successful photo shoot. Please use the contact form to get in touch, and I will respond as soon as I can. Or you can simply send me an email at marionmeakemphotography@gmail.com
Marion, thank you for posting these photos. It was so encouraging to see these young adults on the cusp of a new life adventure. Wishing them all the very best in 2021!
