It’s always funny to me that I have to drive half an hour to Old Town Alexandria for a “European vibe” in my images. Old Town in particular, with its cute red brick alleys and (a few) cobblestone streets, gets overrun with photographers, especially during the busy, pre-holiday season. LITERALLY HALF OF MY NATIVE GERMANY LOOKS LIKE THIS 🏚. I grew up cursing cobblestone streets because they are so hard on your bike (and by extension rear end), and now I will drive all over the DMV to find a few meters of this technological wonder from the Middle Ages to add Old World charm to my photos. 🥰

Turns out, the effort is always worth it. Check out this December session – a great example of how a HS Senior Session can be enhanced with a collection of beautiful family photos. So much fun meeting these lovely new clients, and congratulations to this gorgeous member of the Class of 2022.

Meanwhile, I wonder whether I should add something about “European Sophistication” to my tagline? Would that elevate my brand? 😂
