These two were such a blast to work with during their maternity session at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens last fall as they were enjoying the remaining weeks of being expectant parents. I’ve known Cassie for a few years now in a professional capacity, as we’ve worked together on high level events by the Prevent Cancer Foundation, so it was both a privilege and a pleasure to get to know her in relaxed Sunday afternoon mode with her laid-back, fun-loving husband. There may have been a couple of jokes about James’ sweater’s similarity to Ransom Drysdale’s from Knives Out, but really any resemblance was completely coincidental. Those of you who know me can confirm that I literally beg my clients to wear light, solid, neutral colors with textures. And didn’t it turn out to be the perfect late fall ensemble as Meadowlark was showing off its autumn colors one last time 🍂🍁- just a few days before ringing in the holiday season?

These two have now officially, and happily, become three. Baby Elsie was born during the first week of this New Year – what a lucky little girl with these parents!🍼 Welcome to the world, little one, and congratulations all around. I wish you all the very best.
