Michelle contacted me in early April about college graduation photos at the Lincoln. GWU is the ONLY COLLEGE IN TOWN without an in-person graduation so it was only fair to splurge on a grad photo session with bells and whistles. She drove down from her home in Long Island the night before our session just for these photos (yeah, no pressure at all!) and showed up all chipper and styled at 6:30 am at the top of the Memorial along with her lovely parents. We dodged the many other photo shoots that began to materialize during the following hour and eventually headed up to the the GW campus for the grand (fake) champagne finale. (Pro tip: You can watch youtube videos on techniques to make a bottle of bubbly last for a rather high shutter count, but please do this at the very end of your shoot and use a long lens – it’s an incredible mess).
“On to My New Dream” is what you so beautifully inscribed on your mortarboard, Michelle. I wish you only the very best on your journey to follow that dream, and I can’t wait to hear about the great things you’ll accomplish in the future.
Good communication is key to a successful photo shoot. Please use the contact form to get in touch, and I will respond as soon as I can. Or you can simply send me an email at marionmeakemphotography@gmail.com
