The last time I took this young lady’s pictures she was just a little girl sitting in her Daddy’s lap. Imagine my surprise when we met up at Meadowlark Gardens in Vienna for her Senior photos a few days ago on a sunny spring afternoon, and I had to look waaayyy up to her. Thankfully I always bring my little foldable step stool (as many of you know, most people are taller than me) so we could see eye to eye. 🙂 Kendall knocked it out of the park with her gorgeous white dress, statement jewelry and, most importantly, her irresistible smile. The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree: check out her classy parents on their 22nd wedding anniversary. These people do know how to dress for the occasion, I should say.

We had a wardrobe change toward the end of the session for a different look. You’ll see as you scroll down how two (or three) different outfits can enhance the yield of images for the final gallery. I always recommend some variety.

Let’s wish this beautiful young lady all the very best for the remainder of her Senior year and the beginning of her college career. These are unusual times for everyone, to say the least, and our High School Seniors deserve an extra round of applause. Covid robbed Kendall of the opportunity to be drum major for the McLean HS Marching Band, a very competitive position to earn, and such a bummer of a loss for her. I have no doubt, though, that she will keep shining in whatever her future holds. Good luck to Kendall and the entire class of 2021.
