Very few of my clients share my linguistic proclivity towards the language that comes easiest to me: Denglisch. It’s the random mixing of German and English (Deutsch und Englisch = Denglisch) and reflects the sentiment of neither here nor there which many expats (I would imagine from any country) experience regularly on a visceral level. On good days it represents the best of both worlds, like crusty German bread and tumblers of free ice water; or having Nikolaus AND Santa Claus come.
So when you photograph your son’s 3rd grade German teacher, you get to give posing instructions in your favorite tongue. Add in a perfect sunset and a very photogenic family with an adorable pup, and you’ll end up with a pretty presentable gallery of family portraits.
Good communication is key to a successful photo shoot. Please use the contact form to get in touch, and I will respond as soon as I can. Or you can simply send me an email at marionmeakemphotography@gmail.com
