“Forty and Fabulous” was the theme for Randa’s auspicious DC Penthouse Party, and a fabulous celebration it was at the top of the wharf. The penthouse of LaVie in DC provided a stylish, contemporary indoor and outdoor setting with breathtaking 360 degree views of the waterfront and the city, including – strangely enough – into the living rooms of some high end apartments across the way. Kind of a modern day setting of Rear Window.

And while the setting was understated and elegant, Randa’s party was a testament to her warm and bubbly personality: a heartfelt celebration with friends and companionship, good food, music, dancing, and just plain fun. All that topped by a cake that was an amazing piece of art, as well as handmade party favor cookies much too intricate and beautiful to even consider eating. If they were only half as delicious as they looked, trust me, they were mind-blowing.
